Tottenham will not appeal Davinson Sanchez's red card against Watford, meaning the Colombian will miss their Premier League games against Stoke, Brighton and Manchester City.
Sanchez was dismissed on Saturday in the second half for serious foul play, having put his arm across the face of Richarlison during the 1-1 draw at Vicarage Road.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino refused to discuss the referee's decision making, but confirmed they would review the footage in private before deciding whether to appeal.
Sanchez's absence leaves Spurs with only three fit centre-halves in Eric Dier, Jan Vertonghen and summer signing Juan Foyth until the away fixture at Burnley on December 23.
Sanchez can play for Tottenham in their final Champions League group-stage clash with APOEL Nicosia at Wembley on Wednesday, however.
Of Saturday's incident, Pochettino said: "I am not going to say anything about the referee's performance. I am not going to complain. It doesn't change anything and doesn't help anyone."
Hornets boss Marco Silva said: "For me it looks clear. Maybe the defender didn't want to do it but he stopped Richarlison with his arm in his face."
Sanchez, 21, signed for Tottenham in a club-record £38.4m deal from Ajax in the summer.
