Mauricio Pochettino declared Harry Kane among the world's best strikers after his match-winning display in Tottenham's 4-1 victory over Liverpool on Sunday.
Pochettino hailed his star striker's contribution on a day when Spurs set a new Premier League attendance record in front a crowd which included Diego Maradona and Kobe Bryant.
"Harry Kane is a fantastic player, he is one of the best strikers in the world," the Spurs boss told Sky Sports. "It is difficult to find words to describe him.
"Of course, we are a team, but he is an unbelievable player, his effort without the ball, running pressing, holding up the ball, everything is fantastic."
Kane went off holding his hamstring late in the game, but Pochettino said: "He is OK. He is tired, three games in one week. The effort was amazing from him, it's normal that he was a little tired in the end. There was no hamstring pull. After the massive effort against Real Madrid, it was normal for him to be tired."
The win over Liverpool moves Spurs up to third in the Premier League ahead of their clash with second-placed Manchester United next Saturday, live on Sky Sports Premier League.
"It was a fantastic performance, congratulations to my players, it was a fantastic collective effort," said Pochettino.
"We started the game very well. I am so happy, in front of our fans, Diego Maradona and Kobe Bryant, it was an unbelievable day for us.
"It's so difficult to pick out one thing, many things were pleasing this afternoon. First, the commitment of the players, the effort and the mentality in the way we play.
"Our fans were fantastic and it's starting to feel like home, that we can win here in the big games. That confidence is important for us."
Both Spurs and Liverpool entered the game on the back of encouraging midweek results in the Champions League but it was the hosts who prevailed, punishing two early defensive lapses from Dejan Lovren, who was substituted in the 31st minute.
"It was important to be aggressive, to get forward, play using our strengths and to not give Liverpool space, because they are so good up front with Coutinho, Firmino and Salah," Pochettino added.
"They run in the defensive lines and down the channels, we saw that with their goal but that was the only time they did, where we made a mistake and not focused.
"But from there on the performance was fantastic, we played very well, particularly in the first half."
