Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino said he was proud of the club's achievements this season, but now wants the club to "move on".
Spurs ended their final season at White Hart Lane undefeated thanks to a 2-1 victory over Manchester United, a result which guaranteed a second-place finish and the club's best ever Premier League season.
Pochettino admitted he felt disappointed after falling short behind Chelsea in the title race and says the club now needs to move forwards in their temporary Wembley home next season and then in their new stadium from 2018/19.
"It is fantastic to achieve second position," he told Sky Sports.
"We are disappointed, but at the same time we need to move on. Second position is fantastic for us with 80 points and being unbeaten at White Hart Lane in the last season here.
"There are a lot of things to be happy about today. It's true that in the moment we start to play in the new stadium with new facilities I think the club will move to the last step and to the last level.
"But at the moment we are so happy."
Pochettino could not hide mixed emotions after goals from Victor Wanyama and Harry Kane secured an emotional win, just two days after Chelsea sealed the title at West Brom.
"I'm very, very proud," he continued.
"To finish second I think is a fantastic achievement for the club, but it is true we are disappointed when you are close and fighting to win the Premier League.
"But at the same time we are happy."
When asked if he will miss the Old White Hart Lane, he added: "Yes always, but we need to move on and welcome the new stadium."
