Mauricio Pochettino: Tottenham should have beaten West Brom

Mauricio Pochettino felt Tottenham "deserved" to beat West Brom, but needed to be more clinical in their 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Spurs dominated the first half at The Hawthorns but could not find a way past Ben Foster, who made brilliant stops to keep the game goalless at the break.
Nacer Chadli then scored against his former side to put West Brom ahead in the 82nd minute, but Dele Alli snatched a late equaliser.
While the win preserves Spurs unbeaten record, Pochettino told Sky Sports: "I feel disappointed because I think we deserved the victory and we played much better and created more chances.
"But in football the chances that you create you need to score and you need to be clinical, and today was a bit unlucky. In the first half we created a lot of chances and Foster was the man of the match.

"We feel disappointed that we missed two points, but the performance was good and I feel very proud."
With Manchester City held at home by Everton, Spurs missed the chance to go top of the Premier League table.
But Pochettino was pleased with his side's response after falling behind so late on.
"The team showed big character and belief to get the draw, it's a long season, we are still unbeaten and we need to keep going," he said. "The unbeaten run makes you feel proud and good.
"It was a massive effort against a team that is difficult to play against. It's difficult to win, but you need to score when you create and are much better than your opponent."
Spurs could be without Toby Alderweireld for a few matches after he was taken off on a stretcher on the hour mark following a clash with Jan Vertonghen.
"Now it's difficult to know," said Pochettino. "He got a heavy knock on his right leg and we need to wait 24 or 48 hours to assess it better."
