Phil Thompson has 60 seconds to discuss a game of two halves at the Riverside as Tottenham beat Middlesbrough 2-1.
Spurs have moved up to second in the table and they looked every inch title contenders in the first half, as Harry Kane's replacement Vincent Janssen linked well with Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son.
South Korean international Son scored twice at Stoke earlier this month and repeated the feat here, conjuring up a pair of fine finishes to put Spurs 2-0 up after 23 minutes and apparently in cruise control.
However, Spurs failed to really kill the game off, Alli squandering a decent chance, while Victor Valdes pulled off a couple of decent saves in the Boro goal.
The hosts were much better after introducing Adama Traore on the hour and Ben Gibson headed home a Stewart Downing free-kick to delight the home fans.
But a Jordan Rhodes header straight at Hugo Lloris was as close as Boro came after that and they have now lost three Premier League games in a row.
