Stephan El Shaarawy's late header denied Tottenham all three points in Monaco after a 1-1 draw in their Europa League Group J clash.
Erik Lamela gave Spurs a first-half lead from close range after 35 minutes, but Monaco grabbed an equaliser with 10 minutes remaining through the head of substitute El Shaarawy.
Spurs have four points from their two games in the Europa League in Group J, and have lost just twice in 10 games in all competitions this season.
After a quiet start, the game came to life late in the first half thanks to Lamela's goal. The Argentine netted his third in four games after Dele Alli saw his shot saved by Danijel Subasic, slotting home into an empty net as the ball fell kindly into his path.
A flurry of chances came after the goal for both sides; first Adama Traore saw his right-footed effort tipped wide by Hugo Lloris, before Harry Kane smashed his effort off Fabinho from a clear scoring position.
Monaco nearly went into half-time level, but Lacina Traore's towering header at the back post flew just wide of Lloris' left-hand post.
Spurs came close to doubling their lead with 15 minutes remaining, but Eric Dier's header from Christian Eriksen's corner was well saved by Subasic down low.
Monaco equalised in the closing stages after substitute Nabil Dirar's cross from the right found fellow sub El Shaarawy to head in from close range despite Lloris getting more than a touch on the ball.
And the hosts nearly completed a swift turnaround three minutes later, Dirar seeing his pot shot from 25 yards saved uncomfortably by Lloris, who had Danny Rose to thank to clear up.
