West Brom's Dwight Gayle is the Championship's most in-form player, according to the Power Rankings.
But it was tight atop the chart after Championship clubs completed two rounds of games, on Good Friday and Easter Monday - with the Baggies frontman narrowly securing top spot by the finest of margins.
Gayle scored a match-winning double in a 3-2 win over Hull last week - having hit a hat-trick in a 4-1 demolition over Preston one week earlier.
Sheffield United piled pressure on Leeds in the hunt for automatic promotion after back-to-back wins against Forest and Hull, with Enda Stevens (No 2) scoring in both games and David McGoldrick (No 4) netting twice against the Tigers.
Birmingham's Lukas Jutkiewicz (No 3) scored within two minutes in a 2-2 draw with Derby on Friday before recording a customary, match-topping number of duels in a 3-1 win at Rotherham on Monday.
League-leaders Norwich made it four successive draws with 2-2 stalemates against Sheffield Wednesday and Stoke to stall their promotion party, with Marco Stiepermann (No 6) emerging as their most in-form player.
Aston Villa virtually guaranteed a play-off spot after beating, and relegating, Bolton in a 2-0 win and edging a 1-0 victory over struggling Millwall, with Jack Grealish (No 5) scoring and assisting on Friday evening.
Brentford's Neal Maupay (No 7) and Swansea's Oli McBurnie (No 10) moved into the top 10, while Reading's Yakou Meite (No 8) and Derby's Mason Mount (No 9) suffered slips but retained places among the top performers.
The Power Rankings methodology reflects a player's performance by awarding points for 34 different stats.
