Everton winger Bernard has revealed Marco Silva has been using all his attacking players in various combinations in training.

The Brazilian made his first start for Everton in the victory over Leicester on Saturday, as part of a rearranged front-three alongside Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Suggesting it will not be the last time Silva mixes things around up-front, Bernardo says he is "excited" to see what they can do together.

"The manager has been practising with that forward line-up during training," the Brazilian told the club's website.

"Marco likes to mix it round a lot in training sessions so we are comfortable on the pitch with different players and understand each other's games.

"We made the most of the work we have been doing in training and showed what we can do. We hope we can keep going in this way and if we get more results like this one we can enjoy it even more - and see what we can do as a team.

"[Richarlison, Sigurdsson and Theo Walcott] are all very good players, which makes it easier to develop an understanding and it felt very good. Although we have not [all] played together in a match, we have been working very hard as a unit [in training]."

Bernard provided an assist for Richarlison's opener at the King Power stadium, before Sigurdsson completed the victory with a long-range effort.
