Brendan Galloway is delighted to have signed a new deal with Everton, claiming the club can offer him the "whole package".
The 19-year-old former MK Dons defender agreed a new four-and-a-half year contract at Goodison Park earlier this month after breaking into the first-team at the end of last season.
Galloway told the Liverpool Echo: "There is no doubt about it, I came to the best club for me and with the manager, staff and other senior players it was important to get that whole package.
"It is very hard to find that whole package in football but I have found it here and now I am just looking forward to learning a lot more.
"It was important to know that my future was going to be here at Everton and I am really happy for me and my family.
"They have always been a big part of my career and have been since I was a young boy. They come to all of my matches that I play, at least five always come - my cousins, my sisters and my parents always come.
"It has been like that from when I was a young boy. They all still live in Milton Keynes but even for the far away games they still come up. That is important to have the support of them."
Galloway has made 16 Premier League appearance since the end of last season and paid tribute to Everton U21s boss David Unsworth who he says was the perfect mentor.
"I've improved in knowing how to play in the Premier League," Galloway added.
"I was new to it at first but in the games I've played, I've settled in but even towards the back end of last season, when I was still with David Unsworth in the U21s, he taught me a lot about what to expect in the Premier League.
"So there were no surprises. He's played a huge amount of games for Everton and so he knows what it takes."
