Roberto Martinez is a big fan of Bournemouth's footballing mentality but says it is too early to tell whether it will keep them in the Premier League.
Eddie Howe's side produced a fine double comeback to claim a 3-3 draw against Everton on Saturday, rallying from 2-0 down to level and then grabbing a point in the 98th minute thanks to a Junior Stanislas header.
Howe has previously spoken of his admiration for Martinez's philosophy and the team he built at Wigan, which repeatedly escaped relegation after impressive finishes to the season.
And Martinez repaid the compliment after Saturday's thrilling game, as he said: "The mentality, or the footballing philosophy, of wanting to be on the ball, wanting to score goals, wanting to win games, from that mindset there are similarities of course.
"I always think that sort of approach can give you a real strong ending of the season, because you keep playing in the same manner.

"If you've got goals in your side you've always got opportunities to win football games, and from that point of view there are similarities, but every team is very, very different.
"It's very early in the season [to say if Bournemouth will stay up]. I'm sure that what Bournemouth have as a team is that winning mentality of achieving promotion last season, they've really got continuity at the club with the manager and the players.
"All you're doing from game to game is trying to accumulate as many points as you can and I don't see anyone fighting relegation just yet, in November."
