Aaron Ramsey has revealed Arsenal have set their sights on finishing the season with an unbeaten run.
Arsenal became the first team to defeat Monaco at home this season in midweek but despite the 2-0 victory crashed out of the Champions League on away goals.
The Gunners bounced back by claiming their sixth win on the trot on Saturday after Olivier Giroud’s double secured a 2-1 victory over Newcastle.

Ramsey says the Gunners drew inspiration from their heartbreak in Monaco following the win at St James’ Park which saw Arsene Wenger’s side close to within four points of leaders Chelsea.
“It was obviously very disappointing but we take positives from it, obviously going there and winning 2-0,” Ramsey told Sky Sports.
“Not many teams have done that and they don’t concede a lot there so we took a lot from that game and we are on a good run at the moment.
“We just wanted to keep that going today and we came away with three points so it’s another game ticked off and we’re looking forward now to going and meeting up with our national teams and having a little breather from club football.
“We’re straight in with a game against Liverpool (when we come back). It’s one of those games as a footballer that you look forward to and I’m sure it will be a great game, two teams who are in form going head-to-head.
“Confidence is really good and high at the moment and we are confident when we go the field that we can get the three points so that’s our target now to just try and go unbeaten for the remainder of the season.
