His future at the club is uncertain, but with 17 Premier League goals, second only to Leicester's Jamie Vardy this season, Aubameyang is the obvious choice. He has shone under Arteta in an unfamiliar left-sided role and also captained the side, earning praise for his leadership.
Arsenal have conceded 36 goals in the Premier League this season but that number would be considerably higher if not for Leno's performances in goal. Only Newcastle's Martin Dubravka has made more saves this season and supporters have been grateful for his contributions.
He has started less than half of Arsenal's Premier League games but few team-mates players have attracted as many plaudits as Saka this season. Like Xhaka, the Brazilian has shown significant improvement under Arteta in the second half of the season. He has helped to provide a more solid defensive base, earning the man-of-the-match award in Arsenal's 2-0 win over Manchester United in January, and providing leadership too.
