Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe has joined Bundesliga side RB Leipzig on loan for the rest of the season.
The 18-year-old has impressed at the Emirates, scoring three goals from his six first-team appearances during the current campaign, in the Europa League and Carabao Cup.
He has also featured in Premier League matchday squads but has yet to play in the league.
Arsenal confirmed Smith Rowe has made the switch in order to gain "valuable first-team experience."
"Emile is a promising young player. This move will get him valuable competitive action which is important as he continues his development," said head coach Unai Emery.
Leipzig currently sit fourth in the Bundesliga table on 34 points from 19 games played. Borussia Dortmund currently lead the way, six points clear at the summit on 48.
