Arsenal manager Unai Emery says he respects Aaron Ramsey's decision to leave the club with a move to Juventus edging closer.
Sky sources understand Ramsey has agreed to join the Italian club on a free transfer when his contract with Arsenal expires in the summer.
The Wales international will undergo a medical with the Italian club on Sunday and the deal is expected to be finalised after the Italian Super Cup game against AC Milan next Wednesday.
Emery says he is happy with Ramsey's attitude in training and expects the midfielder to maintain his professionalism until the end of the campaign.
"My idea and focus, I say to him every day, is with us," said Emery. "We need his performances for us and the last matches I am very happy with him.
"I asked him in the last match at Blackpool if he's ok to help us play, he said yes I want to play. He played with a big commitment to us.
"His future is individually for him, for his family, his agent. Every training day with us he is working very well and I want his behaviour and focus the same for West Ham on Saturday."
Emery added: "I respect his decision a lot. I cannot say more than this situation.
"For me the most important (thing) is Aaron Ramsey is with us. His future I respect a lot because it is a very private decision.
"But between him and us, I am very happy with him now."
