After Arsene Wenger announced he is stepping down as Arsenal boss, we take a look at the stats behind his legendary spell in the Premier League.
Wenger will leave Arsenal in the summer following a period of decline that has failed to match the heights of the earlier stages of his tenure.
Here's a look at some of the figures behind his spell with Arsenal…
At the time of writing, Wenger has overseen 1228 games as Arsenal boss. That figure could reach 1235 if Wenger's men reach the Europa League final in Lyon.
His first official game in charge was in 1996 where Arsenal won 2-0 against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park courtesy of a brace from Ian Wright.
His biggest win was a 7-0 scoreline which he achieved three times (Everton 2005, Middlesbrough 2006 and Slavia Prague 2007) and his biggest defeat came at Old Trafford in the famous 8-2 drubbing by Manchester United in 2014 - his 1000th game in charge.
Wenger has won 17 trophies (10 major ones) with the possibility of making that 18 in the Europa League final, which would be his first European trophy.
The Frenchman has overseen three Premier League title wins, won seven FA Cups and bagged seven Community Shields.
However, 65 per cent of Arsenal's trophies under Wenger were picked up in the Frenchman's first 10 years at the club (11 out of 17). All three Premier League titles under Wenger came in his opening eight years at the club (1998, 2002, 2004).
Curiously, his win percentage has remained similar - 57.6 per cent in the first decade compared to 57.0 per cent since then - but in terms of trophies won, there is a clear difference.
His rich history in the FA Cup is identified by the fact that no manager has won it more times than him.
Since taking over in the autumn of 1996, Wenger has overseen three title wins, six runners-up finishes, five third-places finishes and a further six occasions in which Arsenal have finished fourth in the Premier League. Last season was the only time he'd finished outside of the top four.
Wenger has taken charge of more Premier League games than any other manager in the competition (currently at 823), even outlasting Sir Alex Ferguson, who oversaw 810 Premier League game for Manchester United. However, Ferguson won 528 Premier League games in his career - a win percentage of 65 per cent compared to Wenger's 57.5 per cent.
The Frenchman has also accumulated 1,618 Premier League points with only Ferguson (1,752) having more as a manager.
Under Wenger, Arsenal went a record 49 consecutive top-flight league games unbeaten from May 2003 to October 2004, breaking Nottingham Forest's previous record of 42 set between November 1977 and November 1978 under Brian Clough. Additionally, Arsenal's title winning team of that era went through the season unbeaten - a feat unmatched in the Premier League era.
One more defeat for Arsenal this season would make this season their worst ever under Wenger in the Premier League. With 11 defeats already suffered, another would mean Wenger losing 12 league games in one season - that's never happened before under his watch. The last time Arsenal lost 12+ league games in a season was in 1994/95 when losing 17 under George Graham and Stewart Houston.
The Gunners have also won just 54 points this season - the fewest in a completed season under Wenger is 67 in 2005/06. Much of their problems have come at the back where they've shipped 45 with five games still to play. The most they have previously conceded under Wenger is 49 in 2011/12.
