Did Ozil pass to an Arsenal substitute?

Did Mesut Ozil pass to a substitute on the touchline? It appeared he did as Arsenal were beaten by Crystal Palace on Monday.

It was a frustrating evening for the Gunners at Selhurst Park, who were already 1-0 down when the incident occurred in the 62nd minute.

After snatching possession back from Yohan Cabaye with the help of Granit Xhaka, the Germany international looked up to spot a yellow shirt on the left-hand side who he played the ball to.

However, the man in question happened to be Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who was still a substitute and was warming up on the touchline, wearing his yellow away shirt with a green bib over the top.

Although Nacho Monreal tried to run for the ball, it ran out of play as Ozil misplaced the pass, showing his frustration in the aftermath.

It was Cabaye who went on to score Crystal Palace's second a minute later to further impound the misery for Arsenal on Monday Night Football.

Hit play on the video above and decide if Ozil did indeed pass to a substitute on the touchline.
