Background
Hubert started out at Valenciennes in France before spending a month on trial as a junior at Stoke City.
He then joined Standard Liege's academy and broke into the senior squad last season, making his debut at the age of 21 on October 25, 2015 in his side's 3-2 win away at Charleroi.
Hubert, who has made two appearances for Belgium's U21 side, went on to make 18 league appearances, keeping nine clean sheets with notable performances against Sint-Truiden, Anderlecht and Club Brugge.
This season, the 6ft 6in goalkeeper has made six league appearances and has featured three times during Standard's Europa League campaign.
Do Arsenal need a goalkeeper?
With Petr Cech and David Ospina filling the number one and two spots, Arsenal seem well stocked between the sticks.
However, with Cech aged 34 and Ospina reportedly considering a move away from the Emirates, it appears Wenger is planning for the future with his reported interest in Hubert.
The Gunners also have to sort out Wojciech Szczesny's future with the Poland international having spent the last two seasons on loan at Roma.
Who else is interested?
Arsenal appear to be at the front of the queue for Hubert's signature after scouting the 22-year-old on six occasions.
However, there are thought to be more premier League clubs interested in him with Liverpool, Leicester and Swansea also reportedly tracking his progress.
