Which are the most credible Arsenal transfer rumours right now?
Sky Sports has teamed up with Football Whispers to bring you the hottest transfer talk of the moment, as Arsene Wenger looks to improve his squad ahead of the upcoming Premier League season.
Football Whispers have developed a unique algorithm to take all of the transfer rumours from across the globe and calculate the likelihood of them happening.
They track transfer stories and give them a score out of 5.0, with the hottest Whispers closest to 5.0.
The top three are:
1. Shkodran Mustafi (Valencia) - 4.5
Are Arsenal closing in on the signing of Shkodran Mustafi? Reports on Saturday claimed the Gunners had made a £26m offer for the Valencia defender.
And, speaking to French TV station SFR Sport, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger confirmed negotiations for the Germany international were ongoing.
"Mustafi? We hope it will be done," he said. "He is one of a number of players we are looking at. Negotiations are ongoing."
As Arsenal continue their hunt for a defender, they have been linked with West Brom's Jonny Evans.
Baggies boss Tony Pulis said on Friday: "If it does happen, you need to make sure you know where your replacements are.
"If Arsenal come in for Jonny, if we do any business we'll do it between the clubs. I wouldn't talk here about doing a deal with Arsenal or anybody else."
3. Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon) - 3.7
As the clock counts down until the end of the transfer window, Arsenal continue to be linked with Lacazette.
Last month they saw a bid in the region of £30m rejected by the Ligue 1 club, although Sky sources understand the Gunners remain interested.
Arsenal's inability to find the net in Saturday's goalless draw at Leicester only fuelled the debate that reinforcements are needed up front. Will Lacazette be the man Arsene Wenger turns to?
