Which are the most credible Arsenal transfer rumours right now?

Sky Sports has teamed up with Football Whispers to bring you the hottest transfer talk of the moment, as Arsene Wenger looks to improve his squad ahead of the upcoming Premier League season.

Football Whispers have developed a unique algorithm to take all of the transfer rumours from across the globe and calculate the likelihood of them happening.

Lacazette continues to lead the way, with reports suggesting Wenger has license to spend to get a striker this summer.

Lyon head coach Bruno Genesio said recently that "there are some offers that you cannot refuse" with regard to Lacazette.

2. Riyad Mahrez (Leicester) - 4.6

Wenger was in attendance last Saturday evening as Mahrez played in Leicester's 4-0 defeat to PSG in Los Angeles.

But do Arsenal need the Algerian? Former Gunners defender Lauren does not think so.

"He is a very good player, but how many similar players in terms of technically proficient, creative midfielders and wide men do Arsenal have already?" he said in an interview with the Evening Standard.

Arsenal are on the hunt for a new defender after Per Mertesacker was ruled out for five months through injury.

West Brom defender Jonny Evans is the latest to be linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.

According to the Daily Mail, the Gunners have made enquiries for the 28-year-old.
