Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has been voted Czech Republic player of the year for a record eighth time.
Sparta Prague striker David Lafata, who won the award in 2014, came second and Hertha Berlin midfielder Vladimir Darida finished third in voting for the award based on a poll of players, coaches, football federation officials and journalists.
Former Chelsea keeper Cech first claimed the award in 2005, the year he was instrumental in helping the Blues win the Premier League title for the first time in 50 years.
The 33-year-old left Stamford Bridge for the Emirates at the end of last season after securing four Premier League titles and a Champions League winner's medal. He also set a club record 220 clean sheets with the Londoners.
Cech sustained a calf injury in the FA Cup defeat to Watford on March 13 but is expected to be back in action shortly after the international break.
