Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admits his side's defensive performance in the 5-1 defeat at Bayern Munich was "extremely poor".
Wenger also says Arsenal have a "small chance" of qualifying from Group F, needing to beat both Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos and hope other results go their way to even stand a chance of reaching the Champions League knockout stages.
Arsenal's new-look centre-half partnership of Gabriel and Per Mertesacker struggled with the German champions throughout on Wednesday night, with Laurent Koscielny left on the bench as a precaution with a slight hip injury, and Wenger admits his side were "not at the races".
He said: "First you have to give credit to Bayern for their quality. On top of that, we made things quite easy for them with our defensive performance.
"We were extremely poor defensively, we were not at the races.
"The funny thing is that when we went forward we looked like we could create chances, and we had chances. But with a defensive performance like that, you go nowhere.
"There's still a chance to qualify. It's a small chance but it is a real one. I think we have to realise that after that kind of performance today, our chances are minimum."
Arsenal, joint-top of the Premier League with Manchester City, now host Tottenham on Sunday in the north London derby, and Wenger says a repeat performance will seriously hamper their momentum in the title race.
"We have to focus on the championship on Sunday and to turn up with a different performance," he added.
"We are in a strong position in the league and we must realise with what we did today we go nowhere."
