Arjen Robben has no problem with Arsene Wenger after the Arsenal manager described him as a "very good diver" following Bayern Munich's last Champions League match against the Gunners.

Bayern Munich return to the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday evening for the first time since their 2-0 victory in February 2014, when goals from Toni Kroos and Thomas Muller set them up for progression to the quarter-finals at Arsenal's expense.

Robben, 31, met Wenger in Brazil during the World Cup last summer, and says he holds no grudge against the Gunners boss for the comments made in the wake of Arsenal's elimination that year.

"It was not a problem at all, no hard feelings - I'm quite easy that way," Robben told the Daily Telegraph.

The Bayern Munich winger has recently returned to training following a groin injury, but Tuesday's Champions League match against Arsenal will come too early for him.

Wenger's side sit bottom of Group F after consecutive defeats against Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos, but Robben is a big fan of the Frenchman and believes Arsenal's style of football is a testament to the manager.

"I think he [Wenger] is unique," Robben continued. "To be there for such a long time you are doing a lot of things very, very well.

"See the players who became better, look at the way Arsenal have developed. In Holland or Germany, they always talk positively about Arsenal.

"Why? The way they play, no negative football, always positive technical football, wanting to make the game. I think that is big credit to him."

Arsenal's challenge on Tuesday is to beat a team whose only defeat this season was on penalties to Wolfsburg in the German Super Cup on the first weekend in August - but Robben believes the Gunners still have the ability to hurt his side.

"I think they have got enough quality," Robben said. "I thought last season they did very well. They won prizes; the FA Cup and the Community Shield.

"They looked very stable and this year they look very strong. I was really surprised to see them lose two Champions League games but, on their good day, I think they can beat any team and we have to be aware."
