Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says "the door is open" for Emre Can to feature in Saturday's Champions League final against Real Madrid.
The Germany midfielder had been Klopp's main injury concern, but appeared with the rest of the squad on Monday as they stepped up their preparations with an open training session at Anfield five days ahead of the final.
The midfielder, who has not started since March because of a back injury, also travelled to Marbella for Liverpool's warm-weather camp last week.
Speaking ahead of the final in Kiev, Klopp said: "Ten days ago, I didn't think it was possible that he could do what he did today, that he could do what he did in Marbella.
"It looked good. It is really positive but we have to wait until tomorrow. The door is open. It is really nice to have him back in the group. He is really desperate to be part of it. We will see."
James Milner also trained after missing the final Premier League game of the season against Brighton with a muscle problem.
The potential availability of both would increase Klopp's options for Saturday's showpiece in the Ukrainian capital.
If Can features, it could be his last game for the club as he is out of contract at the end of the season and is expected to join Juventus on a free transfer.
When asked about Can's future, Klopp said: "No clue. Not important at the moment, to be honest. In this moment, he is 100 per cent here. That is the only thing I'm interested in. I really have no idea."
Adam Lallana is also hoping to end his season on a high after injury limited him to just three starts this term.
The disruption cost him a place in England's World Cup squad, with Lallana forced to settle for a place on the stand-by list.
