Jurgen Klopp says Adam Lallana will play no part in Liverpool's Champions League semi-final second leg with Roma despite being included in the squad on Tuesday.
Lallana, sidelined after suffering another knock in his first game back from a long-term thigh injury against Crystal Palace in April, joins Sadio Mane - who missed Saturday's 0-0 draw with Stoke - in Jurgen Klopp's 23-man squad.
Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold are both included after minor fitness concerns but Joe Gomez misses out with an ankle injury.
"Lallana is here in the training squad, but not available for the game," Klopp told Liverpool's official website. "He's in the training squad and that's very nice.
"It shows how close he is. Unfortunately, the season is not too long anymore, but we're really happy about having him with us."
Liverpool go into the second leg with a 5-2 lead after a dramatic opening game at Anfield earlier this month, looking to reach their first Champions League final since 2007 where they lost to AC Milan 2-1 in Athens.
The Reds were 5-0 ahead after just 68 minutes after two goals from Mohammed Salah and Roberto Firmino either side of a solo effort from Sadio Mane, before Roma scored two goals in the last 10 minutes to keep them in the tie.
Full Liverpool squad: Karius, Clyne, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Lovren, Milner, Firmino, Salah, Henderson, Klavan, Moreno, Mane, Lallana, Mignolet, Robertson, Ings, Solanke, Jones, Ward, Woodburn, Masterson, Camacho, Alexander-Arnold.
