Jurgen Klopp will be given every resource to help deliver success at Liverpool, according to the club's new chief executive Peter Moore.
Moore began his new job on Thursday, succeeding Ian Ayre who left Anfield in February after spending six years as Liverpool's CEO.
Liverpool boss Klopp has wasted no time in further shaping his squad in his own image after finalising a deal to sign Chelsea's highly-rated England U20 international striker Dominic Solanke.
Moore has promised that funds will be made available to allow Klopp and sporting director Michael Edwards to further strengthen and build on last season's fourth-place finish in the Premier League.
"My job is to provide him [Klopp] through FSG [Liverpool's owners Fenway Sports Group] with the resources he and Michael need to be successful," Moore told Sky Sports News HQ.
"It's also to take a little bit of pressure off him. During the period where my predecessor [Ayre] left there was a gap before I was starting and Jurgen had become the face of the club both on and off the pitch
"He stated that he was looking forward to me coming to take that pressure off. It's critical that we give him every opportunity to focus purely on what is on the pitch.
"But we're in together as one team here. Jurgen, Michael and myself all report into FSG.
"My role as the CEO is to continue to think how I can make the team successful. It's a dream job, but it's a job, let's be very clear - there's work to do here."
Moore is a born-and-bred Scouser who returns to Liverpool from America where he spent 10 years working in a variety of senior roles at EA Sports.
The 62-year-old has come across a number of managers, both in football and in his business career, but says Klopp has the most unique management style he has ever come across.
"One of the things you have to take into consideration is the power of this man Jurgen Klopp. We can all see that this is a very special individual here," he said.
"There are managers who manage through command and control and tell the players what to do. And then there are managers who manage through motivation because the players want to give everything for their manager and Jurgen Klopp is the latter.
"In football and in my career I have seen hundreds of different types of manager and I can tell you I have never seen anyone like Jurgen.
"I was with him in Sydney last week and I can tell you I have never seen anyone like him, what you see is what you get. There is no facade on Saturday afternoons where Jurgen puts in on for the cameras. This is a man who cares, who is a brilliant football mind, and is embraced by every one of his players.
"They so desperately want to do well for him. We see that every game when they come off the pitch and they hug him. They are looking for a Jurgen hug - aren't we all - and from that perspective we have a very special and unique manager."
