All the latest Liverpool transfer news and rumours from across the British and foreign press on Tuesday, May 23.
Liverpool are expected to spend over £100m this summer on new players, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk is reportedly a target and could cost at least £50m, while Roma's Mohamed Salah, Red Bull Leipzig's Naby Keita and Borussia Dortmund's Christian Pulisic are also high on Jurgen Klopp's wish list, according to the British newspaper.
To boot, the Telegraph report Liverpool are also interested in numerous world-class strikers, but Monaco's Kylian Mbappe is not one of those targets due to his high asking price.
Spanish newspaper AS say Porto goalkeeper Iker Casillas could join Liverpool.
The 36-year-old is reportedly keen to leave Porto this summer and has offers from the Premier League, Turkey and China.
It is thought that the former Real Madrid goalkeeper considers Liverpool's offer to be the most "solid" and some AS sources say he could have even arranged a pre-contract.
Elsewhere, Liverpool are favourites to sign Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to The Sun.
The Englishman is reportedly eager for more first-team starts in the Premier League, and would cost £20m with just a year to run on his current deal at the Emirates.
Finally, James Milner says Liverpool's potential new signings must be dedicated to the long-term project and not just dazzled by a Champions League adventure.
"It's disrespectful to the club if you say the only reason you are going to Liverpool is for Champions League," he said, after the club earned a top-four spot by beating Middlesbrough on Sunday.
