Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is set to miss Saturday's Merseyside derby with a thigh injury sustained on England duty, and could be out for up to four weeks.
Lallana played in England's 1-0 defeat against Germany, and set up Jamie Vardy's second-half goal in the 2-0 World Cup qualifying win over Lithuania at Wembley on Sunday.
However, the 28-year-old midfielder, who has played in all but two of Liverpool's 29 Premier League matches this season, sustained a thigh injury in the World Cup Qualifier.
The former Southampton captain has scored seven goals and contributed seven assists for Jurgen Klopp's side this campaign.
Sky sources have confirmed Lallana returned to Melwood with an injury but refused to speculate over a timescale for his return.
