Jurgan Klopp says Liverpool were the better side in 1-1 draw with Manchester United

Jurgan Klopp said Liverpool outplayed and had a better plan than Manchester United as the teams drew at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The two fierce rivals met at Old Trafford, with a James Milner penalty giving the visitors the lead in the 27th minute after Paul Pogba handled the ball in the box.
But with six minutes of the regular 90 minutes to play, the in-form Zlatan Ibrahimovic popped up with his 14th Premier League goal of the season to seal a point for United.
After the game, Klopp was quick to praise the performance of his Liverpool side but admitted that while a draw was satisfactory, the performance merited more.
"It was a very positive performance. We were the better side, played better football and had a better plan," the German told Sky Sports.

"I had a few line-up problems but the boys did really well and played good football. Unfortunately, we only scored with a penalty and I think of other situations when we could have been a little bit more clinical to score. Especially in the last 20 minutes when Untied only played long balls, then it was difficult.
"I think we would have deserved the three points today but now we take one and that’s OK. The performance was good.
"When I take everything into account, then a draw is not enough. Then I think about the performance and what we have to do usually to win a game, think about the quality of the opponents, think about everything and then watch the game again, pull off the shirts and say who can win then today it would have been my team.
"But that’s how it is and it’s not a problem so we take a point at United and that’s absolutely OK. It is always nicer when you have this work rate and we get all three points but that’s it."
It was also a baptism of fire for 18-year-old Trent Alexander-Arnold, who was making his first Premier League start in place of the injured Nathaniel Clyne, and came in for praise from his manager.
"It was an outstanding performance and to do what he did immediately against a player like Antony Martial," Klopp added.
"I think the first two tackles were a bit difficult and he needed time to adapt to the game but then, what a boy he is. It is good to have him and to show him to our Liverpool supporters today. The right full-back side is in good hands for when Clyne is not available."
