Liverpool's Roberto Firmino and Joel Matip set to face Bournemouth
Wednesday 30 November 2016 16:24, UK
Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino and defender Joel Matip are expected to be fit for Sunday's Premier League clash at Bournemouth, according to Sky sources.
Both players missed Tuesday night's 2-0 EFL Cup quarter-final home win over Leeds as a precaution, but manager Jurgen Klopp is likely to recall them for the trip to the south coast, which is live on Sky Sports 1 HD from 12.30pm.
Liverpool will head south sitting second in the Premier League, one point behind leaders Chelsea, after a fine run which has seen them win eight of their last 10 league games.
Klopp will be without attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho however, after the Brazilian was ruled out for around five weeks with an ankle injury.
Coutinho has been instrumental in Liverpool's rich vein of form, but a scan on Monday afternoon confirmed the injury he picked up against Sunderland at the weekend.
