Liverpool defender Joe Gomez has made a successful comeback from injury after 13 months on the sidelines.
Gomez suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in October last year.
But he came through 45 minutes of a behind-closed-doors friendly with Accrington Stanley, which the Reds won 5-0.
Boss Jurgen Klopp recently said he would be patient with the youngster, who joined Liverpool in the summer of 2015.
"It is a long way," said Klopp. "He was injured for a long time and now it is a long way back, so there is no rush in it. We can give him time to come back in the right moment."
Emre Can - who scored one of the goals - Loris Karius, Lucas Leiva, Joel Matip, James Milner and Alberto Moreno all featured in a strong Liverpool team.
The Premier League leaders take on Southampton at St Mary's next Saturday.
