Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says his side need to get "angry" against Hull this weekend as they look to shake off the perception that they're unable to break down the Premier League's smaller sides.
The Reds have made a strong start to the season and have managed to record a number of impressive results away from home, including wins over Arsenal and Chelsea.
However, Klopp's side slipped to a disappointing 2-0 loss at newly-promoted Burnley earlier in the campaign and the German manager is hoping to avoid a repeat performance at Anfield on Saturday.
"Yes we need to be angry against Hull. They want our points. We have to think about why people think we have problems against bus parking," he said.
"But I saw not a lot of space against Chelsea. I cannot remember a lot of space against Tottenham - they were with 10 men behind the ball when we had the ball. We are all involved in defending so that's how it is. We have to find solutions.
"I would love to see everybody go with the right expectations to these games. Why should it be easier?
"Why should a team who people think is weaker than us not have the opportunity to win? I can guarantee it's not about the attitude of the players.
"Hull are ready for the Premier League. They have a very experienced coach and a squad with a great attitude."
Liverpool head into this weekend's game on the back of a 3-0 win over Derby County in the EFL Cup.
German goalkeeper Lorus Karius made his competitive debut for the Reds during the win but Klopp refused to confirm if the 23-year-old would retain his place ahead of Simon Mignolet for the match against Hull.
"This isn't the place to announce line ups," he said. "We have to think about it in a positive way.
"It's a decision at a high level because I am very happy with both of our keepers. When I make a final decision for the next game it doesn't mean we will go like this for the next five years. I am really happy with both of them."
Daniel Sturridge was not included in Liverpool's matchday squad for the win over Derby but Klopp says the striker should be available for this weekend's game.
"Yes I think he will be available. He had a few issues after Chelsea and didn't train," Klopp said.
"Adam [Lallana] & Gini [Georginio Wijnaldum] will be ready. Daniel should be back in training today. "Joe [Gomez] is doing well but he's not team training yet."
