Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli is preparing for the new season by training with the club's academy.
The Italy international returned to Anfield for pre-season after spending a disappointing campaign on loan at former club AC Milan.
Balotelli signed for Liverpool two years ago in a £16m deal but failed to make an impression after just four goals in 28 appearances.
And with the rest of the senior squad currently on a pre-season tour of the United States, with Liverpool set to face Chelsea in the International Champions Cup on Thursday, Balotelli remains at the club's Melwood training ground.
He said on Instagram: "Still working hard with reserve team. Top quality session today with top players. #respect,"
Manager Jurgen Klopp has told the striker he should look for another club after failing to secure a regular place at Anfield.
