Liverpool have signed 39-year-old former Arsenal goalkeeper Alex Manninger.
The Austrian will join former team-mate Ragnar Klavan at Anfield, the pair having spent the last four years in Germany with Bundesliga Augsburg.
Manninger's arrival follows manager Jurgen Klopp's decision to send youngsters Danny Ward and Ryan Fulton out on season-long loans to Huddersfield and Chesterfield respectively.
The signing takes Klopp's number of summer recruits to five following the captures of Klavan, Sadio Mane, Joel Matip and Loris Karius.
In a career spanning two decades, Manninger has signed for 13 different clubs, including Arsenal, Juventus and Fiorentina.
He spent five years with the Gunners between 1997-2002, winning the Premier League and FA Cup double in 1998, and also won the Serie A title with Juventus in 2012.
Manninger was capped 33 times for the Austria national side before announcing his retirement from international football in 2009.
He will wear the No 13 shirt for Liverpool and is likely to be deployed as a third-choice keeper behind Simon Mignolet and Karius.
