Goals from Danny Ings and 16-year-old Ben Woodburn gave Liverpool a 2-0 friendly win over Wigan on Sunday.
Second-half substitute Ings squeezed the ball home in the 71st minute to put the visitors ahead, before Woodburn scored his second senior goal in as many games after netting in the 5-0 victory over Fleetwood Town.
There was concern over an injury suffered by new signing Joel Matip, who was replaced in the second half, but Jurgen Klopp has since played down fears of a recurrence of a lingering foot problem.
Klopp told the club's website after the match: "It's the foot he [Matip] had problems with in the past and then he had a little bit of pain when pre-season started because of the intensity.
"I hope it's only a minor problem. It's not too serious, hopefully. He said he's had it one or two times already. He's used to it."
Liverpool have won all three of their pre-season fixtures so far, and face Huddersfield next on Wednesday, before friendlies against Chelsea, AC Milan, Roma, Barcelona and Mainz ahead of the new Premier League season.
