Martin Skrtel, Dejan Lovren, Joe Allen and Adam Lallana could return for Liverpool in the Capital One Cup final against Manchester City.
Centre-back Skrtel trained with the team ahead of Thursday's Europa League match against Augsburg, having been out since December with a hamstring injury.
The trio of Lovren, Allen and Lallana all returned to training on Friday, meaning they could be available for Sunday's final at Wembley, live on Sky Sports 1 HD, having missed Liverpool's previous four matches.
Slovakian defender Skrtel was forced off during Liverpool's 3-0 defeat to Watford on December 20, and had initially been expected to miss six weeks. However, a setback suffered earlier this month meant his return was pushed back.
Lallana has been suffering with calf and shin problems, suffered during Liverpool's 2-2 draw at home to Sunderland on February 6.
Hamstring complaints have hampered Lovren's attempts to return and he had hoped to be available for selection ahead of Liverpool's Europa League tie against Augsburg on February 18, but has since been absent through illness.
Wales international Allen was also suffering with a hamstring injury, but has returned to action a week ahead of schedule, although he remains a doubt for Jurgen Klopp's side on Sunday.
Joe Gomez and Danny Ings remain Liverpool's long-term absentees.
