Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists his side were good value for a point after their pulsating 3-3 draw with Premier League leaders Arsenal on Wednesday.
Klopp's men took the lead twice through two Roberto Firmino goals but were pegged back by Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud in what was a pulsating opening 25 minutes.
Arsenal's French striker looked to have wrapped up the points when firing his second on 55 minutes but Allen, who had only been on the pitch for eight minutes, struck as the clock ticked into injury time.
And Klopp thought his side's performance deserved a point.
"It was a great football game and ultimately we will talk about this game maybe not too long because Sunday is Manchester United but it is not easy to forget," he said.
"The beginning was really good, not perfect but not too far away from it.
"At half time we came back in the game and again I think it is brilliant from Giroud but in the beginning we have to defend it better and be more concentrated.
"Then you have low battery and you need a bit of luck and we had it. We changed players and I think it was a well-deserved draw."
Klopp admitted his side need to continue to work on defending set-plays.
Klopp's side were pegged back in the first half after a corner from the left caused confusion at the near post, with Giroud nipping in to force the ball towards goal.
Simon Mignolet was caught out of position and despite getting his body to the ball, it found its way through and over the line.
However, Klopp refused to blame Mignolet, stating his players needed to help the goalkeeper more.
"Set-plays we have to defend better. We have to work on it, will work on it. We will analyse it and work it better.
"The second goal, the set-play, he (Simon Mignolet) needs help from all the players."
