Jurgen Klopp's assistant manager Zelko Buvac has arrived at Liverpool on schedule and took part in training on Wednesday.
A string of national newspapers reported on Tuesday night that the Bosnian Buvac might not arrive for Klopp's first game against Tottenham on Saturday because of difficulties over a work permit.
But Buvac, who is known as 'The Brain' due to his tactical knowledge and has previously been described by Klopp as a "master of every form of training", will take his first session at Melwood at 4pm after his work permit was granted.
Klopp and Buvac have known each other since 1992 when they were team-mates at Mainz. After their playing career, Klopp appointed Buvac as his assistant when he took over at Mainz in 2001 and they have been together ever since.
Klopp's other new assistant, Peter Krawietz, has been taking training alongside the German at Melwood this week.
The new management team have now met with the full squad after Adam Lallana, Danny Ings and Nathaniel Clyne, returned from England duty, also on Wednesday.
