Liverpool supporters should "fasten their seatbelts" and enjoy Jurgen Klopp's time in charge, Kenny Dalglish has told Sky Sports News HQ.
Klopp announced his arrival in style at a lively press conference during which he coined his own nickname "the normal one" and predicted a Premier League title at Anfield within four years.
And club great Dalglish, who was in charge the last time Liverpool were champions of England in 1990, believes the new man has already found common ground with the Kop.
Dalglish said: "He sounded very, very impressive. I think supporters will need to fasten their seatbelts - they'll really, really enjoy him.
"He seems like someone who's not in love with himself, which the Liverpool supporters can relate to, and I'm sure they'll take him to their hearts.
"If they've heard the press conference where he's described himself as 'the normal one', that'll do them fine because they regard themselves as being pretty normal."
