Brendan Rodgers has dismissed fears over his future and insisted his only concern is Liverpool’s success.
Pressure is mounting on the Liverpool manager following a difficult start to the season which has seen the club secure just one win from their last eight matches.
The Reds were booed off the pitch on Thursday night after being held to a 1-1 draw by FC Sion in the Europa League but Rodgers sees no need for panic.
"I am not looking for any reassurances, it is not something I am seeking or am worried about," he said ahead of Sunday's Merseyside derby at Everton.
"My worry and ambition is always the success of the club. I've always been clear that as manager you will always have critics, and sometimes the level of that increases.
"It is still very early on in the season and we are making progress as we go along and we have some outstanding players to come back into the reckoning. When we get those back we know we have a squad to challenge."
Rodgers was appointed in 2012 and asked at the time to be judged on his performance in three years' time. He has since become the club's biggest spending manager with just one top four finish to show for his efforts.
"In the first couple of years, we did well," he said. "Over the last 12 months, we have had to manage change and disruption within the squad.
"It's not for me to judge, it's for other people. I will just continue with my work, to implement an idea that we know can win games. Whenever you win games, that's the key. When you lose, there's disappointment."
The Northern Irishman urged frustrated fans to be patient and admitted their criticism is something the team must "take on the chin."
"The supporters watched the game [against Sion] and will be disappointed we didn't take the chances. They want to win as much as we want to win.
"There's frustration there, but we have to take that on the chin.
"When you lose games at a club like this, the investigation is very deep and the analysis is huge. But that's part of it."
Rodgers could be without Christian Benteke for a fourth-straight game at Everton - "there's no real change. We'll see how he is in the next 24 hours before making a decision" - but will recall Daniel Sturridge who scored twice in last weekend's 3-2 win over Aston Villa.
"He's fresh, he's fit and he's looking forward to this weekend," he said.
