Jose Mourinho reacted angrily to exuberant celebrations from Chelsea assistant coach, Marco Ianni, after Ross Barkley’s late equaliser, but who is the man that sparked the scuffle?
Two goals from Anthony Martial had put United on course for victory after Antonio Rudiger opened the scoring in the first half with a header.
But Barkley's 96th-minute equaliser caused wild celebrations, with Ianni jumping around in front of the United bench, eliciting an angry response from Mourinho.
How much do we know about Marco Ianni?
Ianni arrived at Chelsea in the summer along with new head coach Maurizio Sarri, and is described on the Chelsea website as the 'second assistant coach.'
Ianni previously spent two years working with Sarri as a technical assistant to the manager during his time at Napoli.
Born in 1982, Ianni enjoyed a playing career in the lower leagues of Italian football as a defensive midfielder, primarily with Sambenedettese, a club on the Adriatic Sea, currently playing in Serie C.
He began coaching with Serie D side Citta di Campobasso before earning his big move to work with Sarri at Napoli, ultimately leading him to Chelsea and the Premier League.
Ianni leapt to his feet to celebrate Chelsea's equaliser and twice seemed to say something to Mourinho as he passed, with the second time causing the Portuguese to react.
Sarri intervened to apologise to Mourinho and both managers later confirmed that Ianni had also said sorry for his part in the incident.
