Chelsea are interested in signing CSKA Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Golovin, according to Sky in Italy.
Golovin has impressed for World Cup hosts Russia this summer, including scoring in the tournament's curtain-raiser victory over Saudi Arabia to help them progress past the group stages to a last-16 meeting with Spain on Sunday.
Juventus have had a €20 million offer for the player, whose contract in Moscow runs to the end of the 2020/21 season, turned down. CSKA are believed to want €25 million and the Serie A club have decided not to increase their offer.
Golovin, 22, is believed to have been a transfer target for Maurizio Sarri at Napoli before the Italian coach left the Stadio San Paolo at the end of last season, although Sarri remains under contract at the Serie A club.
Sarri's contractual situation with Napoli is expected to be sorted out by the end of June, according to Sky in Italy.
Napoli have already confirmed that Carlo Ancelotti will take over from Sarri and that move will be announced officially on July 1.
