Ahead of the Chelsea v Liverpool game, Michael Buffer was soaked by the Stamford Bridge sprinklers while announcing the teams.

Legendary boxing MC Michael Buffer announced the teams at Chelsea v Liverpool on Sunday - but was hit by a soggy surprise.

After announcing David Haye and Tony Bellew to the ring at the O2 Arena on Saturday night, the American was invited to Stamford Bridge on Super Sunday to shout out the names of Eden Hazard, Mo Salah and the rest.

But hilarity ensued as his appearance coincided with the Chelsea ground staff turning on the sprinklers - and Buffer was soaked as he finished reading the squad lists.

Olivier Giroud scored the only goal of the game as Chelsea kept their top-four hopes alive with a 1-0 victory, which moves them to within two points of Tottenham in fourth and just three behind third-placed Liverpool with two games remaining.
