John Terry is available for Chelsea's clash with Manchester United, head coach Antonio Conte has confirmed.
The Blues captain has been out with an ankle problem since the draw against Swansea on September 11.
Newspaper reports this week claimed the 35-year-old had aggravated ankle ligaments again this week but Conte insists he is ready to play.
He said: "John is in good shape. He trained with the team. He's good. He solved his problem with his ankle and he trained very well this week. He's available for the game."
United boss Jose Mourinho returns to Stamford Bridge on Sunday, live on Sky Sports 1HD, for the first time since he was sacked by the club last December.
Conte says he is yet to make a decision on whether Brazilian duo Willian and Oscar can feature, after the pair remained in Brazil after international duty due to family bereavements.
Willian sadly lost his mother while Oscar is dealing with the death of his grandfather.
Conte said: "Willian came back on Thursday, in the morning, and then he had two training sessions with us. But it's important to consider all aspects in this situation.
"I spoke with the player and me and the club are sorry for him - for this situation - and also for Oscar, who was in Brazil for the death of his grandfather.
"We must consider all the aspects and then make the right decision. We have tomorrow and then we will see. We support the players and their families.
"When you lose your mother, it is always a bad thing."
