Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte is hoping to add to his squad

Antonio Conte says he is keen to strengthen his Chelsea squad before the close of the summer transfer window, but insists he will wait for the "right solutions".

The Italian has made only two signings since being confirmed as Chelsea head coach, with midfielder N'Golo Kante and forward Michy Batshuayi arriving at Stamford Bridge for a combined £65.2m.

Despite having enjoyed an opening day victory over West Ham on Monday Night Football, Conte expressed his desire to secure new recruits ahead of the August 31 deadline and says he is working with the club over potential additions.

"It's very difficult to speak about transfer policy, and about the discussions I face with the club," the 47-year-old said.

"It's important to speak about the players with them at the right moment. Before a game is very difficult.
