John Terry has been ruled out of Chelsea's clash with PSG on Tuesday

John Terry has been ruled out of Chelsea's Champions League game away to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

The Chelsea captain injured a hamstring during Saturday's 5-1 Premier League home win over Newcastle and has not travelled to France despite training on Monday morning.

Terry must now wait for his 700th Chelsea appearance, and his absence leaves Guus Hiddink short of centre-back options, with Kurt Zouma out for the season.

Hiddink could pair Branislav Ivanovic with Gary Cahill and switch Cesar Azpilicueta to right-back, leaving Baba Rahman to come in on the left.
