Chelsea say they are in touch with the Ukrainian authorities over reports of trouble in Kiev on Monday night.
The Daily Mail claimed Chelsea supporters were attacked in a bar in the Ukrainian capital on the eve of their side's Champions League game against Dynamo.
And a Chelsea spokesman said: "We are aware of media reports and are liaising with the local authorities."
Police in Kiev did not comment on the specific report, but a general pre-match statement said "3,583 police officers and soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine" would be on duty and warned against bad behaviour.
