Manchester United goalkeeper Joel Pereira has joined Belgian side KV Kortrijk on loan for the rest of the 2018/19 season.
The 22-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan in his native Portugal at Vitoria Setubal, where he made 16 appearances in all competitions before United activated the recall clause in the agreement earlier this month.
Pereira's switch to KV Kortrijk, who are currently tenth in the Belgian First Division, is his fourth loan spell away from United. He has also previously been loaned to Rochdale in League One and Portuguese side Belenenses.
Jose Mourinho was a "firm believer" in Pereira's abilities when he was in charge of United and said the Portugal U21 international "can become the best Portuguese goalkeeper of the next generation".
His departure leaves United with Sergio Romero and Lee Grant, who joined for £1.5m from Stoke City in July, as the primary back-ups to Spanish No 1 David de Gea.
