Manchester United's comeback against Burnley on Tuesday saw them fire 28 shots on goal, their highest total in a Premier League game since they had 32 efforts against Middlesbrough in December 2016. The draw ended their winning run under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but their new-found attacking intent was obvious once again.
Since his appointment six weeks ago, Solskjaer has led United to eight wins out of nine, taking 19 points from a possible 21 in the Premier League. Should United win at Leicester on Super Sunday, he will have won the same amount of league games as Jose Mourinho this season in half the amount of games.
The statistics underline United's dramatic transformation under Solskjaer.
During the Norwegian's tenure, no side has won more points (19), scored more Premier League goals (19), had more shots (121), created more chances (87) or conceded fewer goals (6) than Manchester United.
It's been well documented how Paul Pogba has flourished under Solskjaer but he's not the only United attacker to benefit from the Norwegian's style of play.
All of United's attackers are producing better numbers under Solskjaer in terms of minutes per goal involvement, with Marcus Rashford in particular clearly enjoying his favoured role up front in recent weeks.
The 21-year old has started as a central striker in six of Solskjaer's seven Premier League games in charge, scoring in five of these games. The only game he was pushed out wide was the Burnley game on Tuesday when he started alongside Lukaku for the first time under Solskjaer.
Paul Pogba's penalty on Tuesday night was his 11th goal of the season in all competitions (he is ninth in the Premier League). This already becoming his best scoring season of his career, beating his 10-goal hauls in successive seasons for Juventus between 2014 and 2016.
Under Solskjaer he has averaged a goal or an assist every 72 minutes. Since the time of his appointment, he has been involved in more league goals than any other player in Europe's top five major leagues.
