Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has stepped up his recovery from a long-term knee injury by playing his first game for the club in almost seven months.
Rojo has been sidelined since suffering knee ligament damage during a Europa League win over Anderlecht at Old Trafford in April.
However, the Argentina international was able to feature for the club's U23 side against Athletic Bilbao in the Premier League International Cup on Wednesday night.
Rojo played 45 minutes for United before he was withdrawn at half-time as planned.
The 27-year-old is determined to force his way back into Jose Mourinho's plans for the season and believes he could return to first-team duties in time for United's Champions League fixture against CSKA Moscow on December 5.
Speaking ahead of the 2-1 win over Athletic Bilbao, Rojo said: "I feel good. Up until now, I have not had any problems but training is not the same as a match.
"In three weeks we have a Champions League game and if all goes well tomorrow, I could play in that."
