Wednesday's Man Utd transfer rumours: Robert Lewandowski, Matteo Darmian and Eric Dier

Robert Lewandowski in action for Bayern Munich

All the latest Manchester United transfer news and rumours from across the British and European press on Wednesday, June 21.

Sky Sports football expert Guillem Balague understands United are "very keen" on Robert Lewandowski, who is reportedly unsettled at Bayern Munich.

The Daily Mirror reports Lewandowski is upset at Bayern's failure to support his bid for the Bundesliga Golden Boot award, won by rival Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang last season.

Balague says United held talks on Tuesday over a possible deal but London is the striker's preferred destination amid interest from Chelsea.

The Daily Mirror also claims United could yet challenge Chelsea to sign Everton forward Romelu Lukaku, while full-back Matteo Darmian is a target for Juventus.

The Serie A side want Darmian to replace Dani Alves should the Brazilian join Manchester City.
